Millennial Movie Watching Preferences
Millennials like to watch movies in theaters because of the immersive experience that this setting provides.
They also like the latest innovations that cinemas offer when watching movies such as interactive options, immersive scenes, and virtual reality features.
They also like the custom dining experiences that are recently being offered by movie theaters.
Millennials also like watching movies as they consider this form of entertainment as an affordable alternative to "treat themselves to a little luxury" as more theaters provide premium quality features such as state-of-the art seats.
Around 72% of millennials watch movies in theaters to have some bonding time with their friends and families.
They also like watching movies to "escape from the pressures" of their daily lives.
Millennials are also motivated to watch movies to earn the social currency that they can get by being knowledgeable on the latest in popular culture.
They also watch movies to satisfy their high sense of nostalgia.
